Traders and trading desks all over the world are looking for and
asking for a product and methods to enable them to react to and be able
to recognize changes in the stock market, as soon as any information is
available. However, by using off-the-shelf data streaming products
providing a flood of information, most of world's traders are trading
behind the market. With the tremendous amount of information to
process, the complexity involved in just getting a "feel" for what's
going on in the market place is getting harder. In addition, this
overall sense of the market must then be matched to any trends sensed
relevant to the holdings being actively traded as well as other potentially
watched holdings. The key to success is to anticipate events and trends
rather than being caught in a constant cycle of catch up.
The effectiveness of traders can be measured by those who have the ability to memorize their
positions of their portfolio stocks and understand the relevant impact of each fluctuation in
market data or news. This ability distinguishes a good trader from
a great trader. A book with 100 issues allows for 100 opportunities to
increase the profit margins of their trades. However, until now current
offerings do not adequately support these needs.
